I've been missing the hockey discussion just as much as the games themselves. I'd like to welcome everyone back. Soon we can start watching games, discussing buyouts, trade rumors, and all the good stuff! Who scores the Flyers first goal of the season?

I vote Voracek.

Yes, this is great! Hopefully all the regulars plus some new members will be back.

I will go with B. Schenn for the first goal.

Danny B will score first and often. There is a fire behind him now that he could potentially be bought out.

I can't understand why anyone would NOT vote Giroux. He'll score our first goal, and the game-winner, all while wearing his new 'C' amirite?!

Ahhhhhh feels good to be back!

Am I the only one who feels there's going to be little defense and a lot of goals scored across the league? While basketball and football are different sports, offenses scored a lot more points following the lockout.

I think with the lack of practice and time in between games, defenses will have a hard time adjusting. I sure hope that's the case, if there's one team that would benefit from more goals and less D it's Lavi's 2013 flyers!

Ken Hitchcock was asked about that and he said it will likely be a roller coaster for the first part of the season. At times a team will feel unbeatable and at others they will feel like that can't beat anyone. He went on to say that both those will happen in the same game.

I expect there to be some pretty wild games both good and bad for the Flyers. Lets get it on!
