You might have seen the love many of us have for Brindy when he retired. 1 of your admins was nice enough to invite us to share our memories on the thread they printed & presented to him @ his retirement. Many of us did so.

& the dislike of the Pens is a total plus in my books. As Cat said, join us in chat. Especially in a game where we face Crosby, the Weasel & company.

Appreciate the welcome by everybody. If I get a chance I'd love to chat. Considering the fact that I didn't really get into hockey until my mid to late 20's my hockey knowledge is a bit limited but I greatly appreciate the hospitality.

Well, I'm a Hurricanes fan, however I do enjoy watching yall play and of course Lavi has a place in the hearts of all Caniacs. Anyway, figured I would say hello and wish yall luck in the upcoming season and hopefully we'll meet in the playoffs.


Plus, I can't stand the Pens or Buffalo so I'll root for yall especially when your playing the Pens.

Hello out there - I have been lurking out here for awhile now, but decided to post something after reading the news that Gagne is back! He and Chris Pronger were my favorite players when I started watching Hockey in earnest a few years back. I am originally from California and picked the Flyers as my hockey team because a friend of mine who introduced me to the game is a huge fan and is also, like me, a fan of the LA Lakers which is quite unpopular here in Washington State (and probably in Philidelphia too.) I am pretty new to the sport but I am quite dedicated to cheering for the Flyers and they are the only team for me.
Second would be the Canucks as they are right next door so to speak.
Anyway it hasnt been a great season for us so far but I am learning the game and love watching it.
I think Bryz is fine, but we let too much go in the middle so he is sorely tested. Please don't flame me for my first hockey opinion hahaha.
He may not be as good as he once was, but I am stoked to have my favorite player back in the black and orange.

Hey all, my user name is GrkFlyersFan, but everybody calls me Greek. I'm born and raised in South Jersey. Like DA, I'm a goaltending aficionado. Kinda like the FMB backup goalie. I've been a Flyers fan since the 96-97 season, so when I was 7. It didn't take long to fall in love with Flyers hockey, it really is the best. My trademarks are making excuses for our goalies, serving as the PA Announcer in game day chat, as well as running the out of town scoreboard, as well as an unhealthy hate for the North Jersey Devils. I've belonged to the FMB since the beginning, but was on hiatus for a couple years(long story). Been back for a couple years now, and have changed up a couple things, but nothing huge.

Also Neesio, to be honest, I'm not sure how many people in the Philly market view certain basketball teams. I know I don't care, but I am pretty much a hockey fan.

Is it wrong that I read that as "invasion" techs? LOL
