Guidelines

All Moderator & Admin decisions are final.


For  playoffs,
all new accounts are placed on admin validation. You must be  approved
by the administrator before you can start posting.



Disciplinary Guidelines and Procedures:

Each board member has a meter reflecting his/her warn status. Each member starts off at zero.



Warnings:

Upon committing any
of the stated applicable offenses below, members will  receive a warning, this warning will be apparent
in your status bar. On a  member's third
warning their account will be disabled for an 
administrative review resulting in a lifetime ban.






Personal Attacks:

Insults of any  kind directed at another member, their ideas,
opinions and personal  character. This
includes Flaming/ demeaning/ sarcastic picture attachments.  Failure to comply will result in a official
mandatory warning.









Language:

I.  All language offenders will be reminded of the rule one time only. Any  subsequent violations of this rule will receive an official and  mandatory warning.

1. Deliberate attempts at bypassing the language filter by substituting symbols in place of a letter.

2. Any post that has more filtered words than actual content.


Inappropriate Content:
1. Any  language or subject matter that is sexually suggestive will be deleted,  and the member responsible will receive a mandatory suspension pending a  review with Administration to determine if further action is required.

2. Any language in a post that is threatening will receive an official mandatory warning.

3. Any language in a post that is deliberately offensive in terms of Race, Sexual Orientation, Gender or Religion will be deleted and the account will be suspended pending Administrative review.



Trolling:
Definition:  An account created for the purpose of posting controversial and  irrelevant messages with the intention of provoking other members.

1. Any profile seen participating in the behavior described above will be subject to an immediate ban.

2.  Each Member will be permitted to have one account only . Any and all extra accounts will be closed.



Report Button:
I. Purpose: This  feature allows any member to report on a post and/or member whose  content or subject matter fails to comply with the previous stated  posting guidelines.

II. Exceptions:
1. Excessive and inappropriate use of the report post function will result in an official mandatory warning.



Unauthorized Sales:

1.  Sale transactions on the board are not permitted. This includes  Promotions and Advertising for business sites. Any and all posts of this  nature will be deleted.

2. Season ticket holders whom are  interested in selling off their tickets should use the Flyers Market  Place feature on the team's home page. Flyers Market Place Link



Spamming:

I. Definition:  Spam is an endless repetition of worthless text. Examples: [+any  number; This;  smileys,] -Other Forbidden Applications: [Sopcast Links]

1.  Excessive use of the above mentioned spamming techniques will be  subject to a PM warning. Failure to comply after this point will result  in a suspension of the member's account for the purposes of an  Administrative review to determine if further action is necessary.


Warn level Review Policy

I. Conditions:  Any member who has a status warning on their account from an incident  which dates back 1 year, and has not incurred further penalties in that  time, is eligible for an Moderator review. Pending the results of this  review, your warn status will decrease by the penalty amount of the  reviewed incident.

Board and Forum Basics:

I.  New members are permitted to post in any threads. Once a user has  accumulated 50 posts they will be promoted to "Full Member" status, and  will be able to create new topics.

II. Do not post  duplicate topics. If someone has already created a topic another topic  containing the same subject matter does not need to be created.
a).  Topics that are unrelated to the Flyers or hockey in general are  allowed to be posted in the Miscellaneous section as long as they are  not considered inappropriate.
b]. Stay on topic.

III.  You will respect the personal privacy of players/management and their  families. Discussions about players or management that have nothing to  do with hockey are not permitted.

IV. Signature pictures are allowed as long as they are appropriate and are not larger than 500x200 pixels. (width x height)

V. Avoid posting in ALL CAPS.

VI.  Each member has the option and ability to BLOCK another member's posts  and PM's. This feature should be utilized when attempts at conflict  resolution between said parties fail.

Political  threads of any kind are strictly prohibited on this board. Members  guilty of creating them will be notified via PM once and any subsequent  violations of this rule will be subject to a mandatory warning.
